CUADRILATERALS

Cuadrilaterals: they are polygons with two sides and four vertices.
Parallelograms: they are cuadrilayerals with two pairs of parallels opposite equal sides and two pairs of opposite equal angles
Tipes: square, rectangle, rhomboid rhombus.
Trapeziums: only one pair of sides are parallels.
Tipes: right, isosceles, scalen, trapezoid

TRIANGLES

Triangle: its a flat figure with three sides and three angles
Tipes: Equilateral, Isosceles, Scalen, Right, Acute, Obtuse.

POLYGONS

Star polygon: its a particular polygon that if you link all their vertex together you form a star
Inscribed polygons: they are polygons that are inside of a ciscle so all their vertices are touching the circle
Circunscribed: this polygons have a circle inside
Equiangular: all their corners, angles or vertices are equal
Equilateral: all edges or sides are equal
Regular: all their vertices, angles and sides are equal
Irregular: show different angles and lenght for their sides

ANGLES AND LINES

Parallels: they are lines that they are one in front of the other and never intersect
Perpendicular: they are lines wich meet forming four riht angles
Oblique: they are lines that are forming a cross, they are not perpendicular neither parallels
Angle: it is figure formed by two lines sharing a common endpoint
Tipes:
Complementary angles: they are angles that their addition is 90º
Suplementary angles: they are anglees that their addition is 180º
Adyacent angles: they are angles that their vertex and one of its sides are shares
Angle bisector: its an angle that is divide into two parts equals

KATHRINE SWITZER

Kathrine is a reference in the fight for the equality of women in sport. She was born in Germany, in 1947, she was the first woman to run a marathon in Boston (1967). This test was only for men. Kathrine won the New York marathon.




THANKSGIVING

Thansksgiving is celebrated on the fourth thursday in november. This year is on 22nd November.

Halloween for me, is a holiday  that  the people wear a costume. Children 
go to other  houses  asking for sweets, they say: Trick or treack!
 This holiday is not  Spanish, it is a American, but we 
started  celebrating  it a few  years  ago.

CIRCLES


Circle: It is a closed curve line made by points and it has a center.
Circunference: Is the line outside of a circle.
Center: It is the point equidistant to any of the points on circe.
Radius: Is the line from the center of the circle to any point.
Diameter: Is the line that passes through the center from any point on the circunference to another.
Chord: Is a line that passes through a point of the circnference to an other, but it doesn't touch the center.
Arc: It a part of the line of the circunference

GEOMETRY


Freehand: Draw by hand without guiding instruments measurement.
Drawing: It is a drawing made whit the help of anything.It is usually use the drawing for architecture or enginiering plans
Compass: It is an instrument used for draw circles, arcs and for measuring distances between two points.
Protactor: Is an instrument to measure angles. Usually it is a semicircular transparent plastic sheet graduated in degrees.
Set squares: They are two specials rulers whit a triangular shapes. One is called the 45º triangle and the other is called the 60º/30º triangle. Both have the 90º angle and use for made angles and parallels lines.
Ruber: It is an instrument use for erase something.
Ruler: It is an instrument used to draw straight lines.

In my bedroom there is a bed, a wardrobe and a shelf with a lot of books. There are two drawers and there is a very big table. There isn't a computer. There isn't a bathroom. There are some tedies in my bed. The walls are pink. There is a radio. There are two beds, one under the other.

BASIC


GeometryIt is a subject of knowledge that learn the elemnts and operations on or in the flat like a point.
Greek: geo is earch metry is measurement.
Point: In geometry a point is the place where two lines intersec. A point has not dimensions, no height and no width.
Line: A one-dimensional object formed of infinite points. It has no end, continues forever.
Ray: A line tha begins in a point and there is not end.
Mindpoint: It is the point that is in the midle of a segment.
Line segment: It is line with two ends.
Length: Measurement of something from end to end.
